There is a “Christmas in July” sale going on in the store. You don’t want to miss this one.  Buy an embroidery machine and one of the small lightweight sewing machines (perfect size and weight to bring to class – hint, hint) will be thrown in for FREEEEEE. Okay BUT you have to buy the larger machine remember.
July 8^th - Creative Vision class with Shirley - "Piece-of-Cake Pincusion"
Materials needed -
9 x 12" piece pink print
9 x 12" piece brown print
Scrap of light pink print
Medium-weight fusible interfacing
Heavyweight interfacing (i.e. Timtex or Peltex)
6 1/2" long 3/8" wide satin ribbon (green for leaf)
2 1/2 cups polly pellots (available at Joann's) or other pincushion filler
Polyester fiberfill
July 9^th – Purse with Shirley - The Patch Purse Class - 9:30 til 3:30 and the cost is $30.00. Supply list and Sample is at the store

ABC Club – July 11^th and 18^th - from 1:00 pm to 3 pm– Wall hanging. Okay we’re going to start on our Christmas projects.
Items needed – IF YOU NEED THE GOLD QUICK BIAS TAPE, please call Pam so enough can be ordered. Might not be a bad idea if you stop in and pre-pay! Pam will be able to give us a price break on the bias tape for this project but you must pre-order!
½ yard background fabric
¼ yard main color (also used for border)
1/8 yd or scraps for accent
1/4 yd for binding (for wall quilts only)
Gold Quick bias tape (pre-order from Pam to make sure enough has been ordered for the class)
18” x 18” square of lightweight batting
Thread to match the Quick bias
Lightweight paper backed fusible (Heat and Bond)
Regular sewing machine
New needed, sewing thread for construction,
Clover mini iron (also available at ABC if you want to purchase one)
Pencil or pen
Scissors, all the normal stuff you need that I won’t forget

July 30^th and 31^st - Beginning Quilting with Shirley -from 9:30 til 3:00 each day and the cost is $30.00, come by the store to look at the sample, sign up for the class and get your supply list

ABC Club – August 8^th and 15^th - from 1:00 pm to 3 pm– Sewing Kit. Perfect for a gift or to take along with you when you sew … a sewing kit organizer. Just think you’ll have a place for individual size needles, a matching pin cushion, scissor holder and fob; all wrapped up in one gorgeous kit. The sample is on the board at ABC. The sign up sheet has been posted so hurry in!

August 22nd – Anita Goodesign wall hanging by Rosemarie (part 2)- 10:30 am to 3:30 pm – Embroidery and appliqué a tile scene (your choice of design). How to appliqué and follow the direction to stitch out the squares. Part 2 will be to put it all together and finish your wall hanging. Stop by and look at these amazing wall hangings and sign up!
